  6. - Procurarsi un dischetto 720K meglio se già formattato
  7. - Utilizzare il programma DMS nella Directory TOOLS del CD

  9. I file DMS contengono l'immagine fisica di un dischetto
  10. (cioè anche con i settori e non solo i file come gli LHA)

  17. What is it?

  19. The DISK-Masher (DMS) is a utility that allows users to compress and
  20. archive floppy disks. Version 1.11 requires at least 512k of memory,
  21. and AmigaDOS version 1.2 or later.

  24. Command Line Options and Usage
  25.  
  26.   The general format for a DMS command is:
  27.  
  28.   DMS command file[.DMS] [OPTIONS ...]
  29.  
  30.   Everything in braces [] is optional. Everything else is required.
  31.  
  32.   file[.DMS] is a user specified filename.  The .DMS ending will
  33.   automatically be appended to the filename if you do not include
  34.  it.
  35.   This is done to avoid confusion with other archiver formats.

  39. DMS has been over a year in the making,  the compression routines
  40. are proprietary and we have taken great care to make sure
  41. they are the very best. There is no other program even
  42. close to DMS as far as versatility, performance, and ease
